The Owens-Thomas House-Savannah, GA

Ok. I’m going to just come out and say it. If I don’t, I’ll be saying it all the time. I love downtown Savannah. Absolutely love it. I’ve never been in a city that loves it’s history as much as Savannah. If it’s old it needs to stand until it falls down, if it is maintained it needs to be maintained to look old, and if it is new, it needs to look as old as those houses around it.

This house is actually old. Completed in 1819, the Owens-Thomas House was visited by Marquis de Lafayette in 1825 when he gave a speech to the citizens of Savannah.
